Well I'm at this webpage stuff again. It's just so hard when I can't figure out any kind of html. Trust me, I've tried! Anyways, I'm going to try and share a part of my life in Brazil with you. I have just come back from a trip to Sao Paulo, which is the third largest city in the world; where a few other exchanges students and I went to see the theatrical version of Beauty and the Beast in portuguese (A Bela e a Fera). We cried through the entire show almost. It's really awesome to see something you've grown up on and realizing how much work we have done to understand it in another language. It was really really beautiful. I recommend to everyone to go on exchange for a year...

Jess and I in Rio de Janeiro

Meanwhile, all of us exchange students are having a great time living the life of dreams. We party, sleep, eat and have massive amounts of fun. We do things other people feel strange doing and try everything we possibly can. We live only on what makes us happy, it differs for each of us but none of us care about what we're doing as long as we're happy and its not hurting anyone. I live off food, sleep and my friends. School makes me crazibly unhappy so I do it as little as I can. My friend Jessica and I have great adventures freaking out brazilian people because they are all quite stiff and the "punks" all think they're Avril Lavinge. People at the mall think we're strange wearing jeans, a t-shirt and running shoes...we don't dress up to go to the mall...weirdos, nor do we dress like Avril Lavigne! Get over it!! And whenever we get the chance we sit at the little kiddie table and paint t-shirts!
